Coaching Tools

Executive coaches rely on their experience in business to have a broad repertoire of techniques that help a client to determine a clear path forward, with metrics for measuring progress. Our expertise is supported with the following coaching tools:

Effective Listening:
Effective listening and reflection is the key tool of coaches. This is best achieved through regular contact while focusing on business situations that are complex and at risk. We work primarily face-to-face, usually in the executive's office. We also 'listen' using telephone and email, and are able to meet off-site as well.

360° Feedback:
One of the best methods for an executive to become more aware of the impact of others is to create additional mechanisms for the voices of a leader, colleagues, direct reports, and customers to be hearable. '360° Feedback' instruments are often very effective in this regard. We use the following 360° instruments:
1. Voices (licenced by Lominger)
2. Leadership Effective Analysis (licenced by Management
    Research Group)
3. Custom designed

Professional Mission and Alignment:
Vision, mission, and prioritized direction, are a common theme for organizations, leaders, and their teams. A key instrument we use for this is Personal Catalyst.

Entrepreneurial Attributes:
Leaders usually strive for an action bias. As a basis for coaching leaders with respect to their action, planning, and thinking approaches, we use the Goal Orientation Index (including a profile of entrepreneurs).
